Ms Noreen Watyoka – Vice President
Lecturer | Researcher | Insurance and Risk Management Professional
Ms. Noreen Watyoka is a seasoned insurance and risk management professional with over 15 years of experience in academia and the insurance industry. Currently a lecturer at Midlands State University since 2020, she specializes in risk management, insurance, and business education. Her industry career includes serving as Chief Underwriter at Safel Insurance and prior roles at Regal and Heritage Insurance. Noreen holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management and Insurance from NUST, along with postgraduate qualifications in Tertiary Education and Monitoring & Evaluation from Midlands State University.
Mrs Loraine Nyakurerwa – Secretary General

Mrs. Loraine Nyakurerwa is a highly experienced insurance and risk management professional with over a decade of expertise in microinsurance, claims management, underwriting, enterprise risk management, and administration. She most recently served as General Manager at Clientsure Microinsurance, leading strategic growth and operational efficiency. Her previous roles include Enterprise Risk Management Officer at ZINWA and Administration Manager at ZAFA, where she strengthened risk frameworks and supported regulatory initiatives. Loraine also held claims and underwriting roles at Cassava Smartech and Safel Insurance, and began her career at First Mutual Life. She holds an MSc and BCom in Risk Management and Insurance from NUST and an Executive Certificate in Financial Risk Management from the University of Zimbabwe. She is passionate about improving risk practices and driving innovation in the insurance sector.
Mr Tirivashe Gambiza - Vice Secretary General

Mr. Tirivashe Gambiza is a seasoned insurance and risk management professional with six years of experience in health insurance, broking, and risk mitigation. He currently serves as Chief Insurance Officer at Easisure Financial Services (EFS), where he leads strategic insurance operations across life, health, and short-term sectors. Tirivashe is also a co-founder of Easisure Financial Services (EFS), Monitrack Technology, and a tourism venture, showcasing his entrepreneurial drive and innovation. He holds a BCom in Risk Management and Insurance, is pursuing an MSc in Strategic Management, and has a certification in Business Risk Management from the University of Cape Town. Tirivashe is committed to advancing the insurance and pension industry through strategic leadership, innovation, and policy advocacy.
Ms Marjory Nyazema – Treasurer

Ms. Majory Tinotenda Nyazema is an experienced academic and finance professional with over 14 years of expertise in accounting practice and higher education. She holds a CIMA certification, an MSc in Accounting and Finance, an MSc in Finance and Investments, a Postgraduate Diploma in Higher Education, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting. Currently a PhD candidate, she lectures at Midlands State University and the Africa Leadership Management Academy, and has previously taught at the University of Zimbabwe and NUST. Majory also serves as a technical consultant for the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Zimbabwe and other industry bodies, and holds leadership roles in both professional and non-profit organizations.
Professor Batsirai Mazviona - Committee Member
Researcher | Actuarial & Insurance Expert | Disaster Risk Financing Specialist
Professor Batsirai Mazviona is a highly accomplished academic, researcher, and actuarial science expert with over a decade of experience across Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Denmark. His career spans academia, research, and consultancy, with expertise in actuarial modelling, pension valuations, risk management, and index insurance. Professor Mazviona has contributed extensively to academic scholarship, policy development, and capacity building in the insurance and finance sectors. He holds a PhD in Economic and Management Sciences (Economics) from North-West University, an MPhil in Mathematical Finance from the University of Cape Town, and a BCom in Actuarial Science from the National University of Science and Technology (NUST). Professor Mazviona’s international research engagements with institutions such as the European Center for Risk & Resilience Studies enhance PIPAZ’s ability to protect policyholders and contribute to the development of resilient insurance systems.
Miss Pauline Ncube - Committee Member

Pauline Ncube is a skilled insurance and risk management professional with a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) in Risk Management and Insurance from NUST, Zimbabwe. She has gained practical experience in reinsurance, policy administration, and risk assessment through roles at Tropical Reinsurance and Afrisure. In addition to her insurance background, Pauline has held roles in project coordination, auditing, and business administration, including her current position as Executive Administrative Assistant and Projects Coordinator at G.E.T. Global Growth SàRL in Switzerland. Her diverse experience reflects strong capabilities in both insurance and corporate management.
Mr Hamadziripi Tsokodayi - Committee Member
ICT Strategist | Data Science & Analytics Expert | Enterprise Systems Architect | Network & Cybersecurity Specialist
Mr. Hamadziripi Tsokodayi is an accomplished ICT professional with over 15 years of experience in network security, systems management, data science, and IT governance. He holds an MSc in Big Data Analytics, an MBA, and a BSc in Computer Science. He has held leadership roles such as Director of ICT at Bindura University of Science Education and has led the successful implementation of enterprise systems and secure digital infrastructure projects. Mr. Tsokodayi has delivered business value through data science by leveraging his experience in designing and implementing complex IT enterprise systems, including unified networking solutions, enterprise resource planners, e-learning platforms, e-commerce portals, and user support systems. His data science skill set includes machine learning, big data technologies, Python, Microsoft Power BI, and technical writing. He is also a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and holds several CISCO certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCNAS, CCDP) and ITIL Foundation v3, underscoring his expertise in network operations, cybersecurity, and IT service management.
